Costa Rica extends a warm welcome to all meeting and event visitors!

This exquisite nation is renowned for its breathtaking coastlines, vibrant rainforests teeming with life, and an abundance of extraordinary wildlife.

Whether you seek thrilling escapades or tranquil moments of serenity, Costa Rica offers a diverse range of experiences to cater to every individual’s desires.

Why We Love It

Costa Rica, a land of lush rainforests, majestic beaches, and towering volcanoes, is located between the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean, connecting both North and South America.

It ranks among the top 10 most popular countries in Latin America for meetings and events.

It is renowned for its unparalleled biodiversity and the unofficial motto of the country, “pura vida”, which translates to “pure life” and reflects the locals’ relaxed and content attitude towards life.

Costa Rica is the perfect destination for nature lovers and beachgoers, as well as those who wish to take in the country’s breathtaking landscapes while unwinding and enjoying life to the fullest.

Getting There

For a stress-free journey, the easiest way to get to this paradisal destination is by hopping on a direct flight from major cities like Los Angeles, Miami, and Orlando.

Depending on your departure city, the journey can take anywhere from 3 to 7 hours. Several airlines, like American Airlines, United Airlines, and Southwest Airlines, offer direct flights to the two major airports in Costa Rica.

If you’re traveling to the Caribbean, Central Pacific, or the southern region of Costa Rica then flying into the Juan Santa Maria Airport (SJO) in San Jose is your best option.

If you’re visiting Guanacaste, the surrounding beaches, or the Peninsula Papagayo then the Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport (LIR) in Liberia is the way to go.

When To Go

Enjoy the warm climate in Costa Rica all year round with temperatures ranging from 74 to 80°F during the day and 59 to 63°F at night.

While it is a tropical country, you may experience rain at any time, particularly during September and October.

The period between December and April is typically the driest and sunniest time of year, however, this is also the peak season.

To avoid crowds and higher prices for accommodation and airfare, plan your trip during the “green season” from May to June when you can expect mostly sunny days with a few, short rain showers.
